Addicks striker Lyle has been voted the League One’s PFA Bristol Street Motors Fans’ Player of the Month by football fans across the country.
Taylor, who scored three goals in Charlton's unbeaten September, received 22% of the vote edging out Doncaster Rovers' John Marquis (21%) and Accrington Stanley's Billy Kee (20%).
Strike partner Karlan Grant received 12% of the vote.
Taylor is currently on international duty with Montserrat and speaking as we was about to board a flight said: "I want to say thanks to everyone who voted for me to win the PFA Bristol Street Motors Player of the Month. It's the first one I've ever won, so obviously it means quite a lot to me, so thank you very much and I can't wait to get back out there when the league resumes."
The 28-year-old, who is sporting his new pink haircut for October to raise awareness for Cancer Research UK, has already netted in each of the opening two games of this month.
