Boss Lee Bowyer and skipper Jason Pearce have been nominated for November’s Manager and Player of the Month awards in Sky Bet League One.
Charlton enjoyed a perfect November in the league, winning all four of their matches - conceding just two goals in the process – to move back into the play-off places.
It is the second time this season that Bowyer has been nominated for the monthly accolade, having been shortlisted for the award in September. The Addicks picked up 13 points from a possible 15 in September.
In November, Charlton beat Doncaster Rovers, Walsall, Bristol Rovers and Burton Albion. The wins over Walsall and Burton came away from home and the latter encounter saw captain Pearce volley home a later winner.
As well as bagging the winner at Burton, Pearce led by example in defence throughout the entire month with the Addicks’ rear-guard only being breached twice in more than 360 minutes of football.
The winners of the awards will be announced from 6am on Friday, December 7th. The Sky Bet Championship and Sky Bet League Two awards will also be announced at the same time.
