Heading to Shrewsbury Town on Saturday? Here's everything you need to know about an away day at Montgomery Waters Meadow
Away supporters will be based in the DM Recruitment North Stand at one end of the ground. The stand, offers a very good view of the action and the facilities are good in what is a fairly new stadium which opened in 2007.
The ground is very close to the Meole Brace retail park that offers food and drink. McDonalds, Pizza Hut, Costa and Starbucks are just some of the options on offer. There is also a Marks and Spencer in the retail park. You could always buy food within the stadium with the usual fare on the menu including locally-sourced pies.
The Wild Pig and the Charles Darwin Pub are the two of most popular pubs on matchday and are both around a 10-15 minute walk away from the Stadium. Near to the station, there is also the Vaults, the Station Hotel, the Britannia and the Plough Inn.
Postcode is SY2 6ST. There are a few local car parks available. Wyevale Garden Centre offers football parking at a cost at £5. The Wild Pig also offer parking for £5 as does Pritchards. The Charles Darwin pub offers free parking for customers, but it is a 20-minute walk to the ground.
Train travel from London Euston to Shrewsbury will take around two-and-a-half hours.
When arriving at Shrewsbury station, the ground is roughly two miles away, and is either a 10-minute taxi ride or a 30-minute bus ride.
Tickets will be available from the ground on the day priced as follows:
Adult: £20
U23: £16
Over 65 and Student: £15
U18: £8
