Goal hero Igor Vetokele will start today’s game at Doncaster Rovers after coming on as substitute and scoring a stoppage time winner at AFC Wimbledon last week.
The striker is one of two changes to that side with Krystian Bielik returning to the starting lineup after completing his two-game suspension.
The duo replace Mark Marshall and George Lapslie in the starting lineup who both move to the bench.
It means the Addicks are likely to revert to Lee Bowyer’s favoured 4-4-2 diamond formation with Dillon Phillips in goal behind a defence of captain Chris Solly, Patrick Bauer, Naby Sarr and Ben Purrington. The midfield will likely be anchored by Bielik with Josh Cullen and Joe Aribo ahead of him. Jonny Williams is expected to start behind the front two of Lyle Taylor and Igor Vetokele.
Chris Maxwell, Anfernee Dijksteel, Tariqe Fosu, Ben Reeves and Darren Pratley join Marshall and Lapslie on the bench.
