Charlton boss Lee Bowyer has returned to the starting XI that beat Plymouth Argyle last weekend for today’s game against table-toppers Luton Town.
The boss made four changes for Tuesday’s win at Wycombe Wanderers but Chris Solly, Naby Sarr, Krystian Bielik and Jonny Williams have all returned to the line-up for today’s match in place of Anfernee Dijksteel, Jason Pearce, George Lapslie and Darren Pratley.
It means the Addicks will likely line-up in their preferred diamond formation with Dillon Phillips starting in goal, the stopper has conceded just eight goals in the last 16 games. Solly, wearing the captain’s armband, and Sarr will be joined in the Addicks defence by Patrick Bauer and Ben Purrington.
Bielik will likely sit in front of the back four with Josh Cullen and Joe Aribo ahead of him. Williams is then expected to start behind the front two of Lyle Taylor and Igor Vetokele.
The four who make way all move to the bench where they are joined by Chris Maxwell, Ben Reeves and Josh Parker.
