Luke Davenport became the latest winner of Charlton’s Young Fan of the Week award when we played Brentford on Saturday, August 24th.
The accolade – which is awarded at every weekend home game – rewards junior Addicks fans for showing great support for the team.
At the weekend, Luke was presented with a signed football by midfielder, Jake Forster-Caskey and we have asked the 15-year-old for his Charlton memories…
Why I became a Charlton fan... My dad Brainwashed me!
My first game at The Valley was… Swansea City in August 2008. I kept looking around looking at the crowd.
My first away day with Charlton was… Fulham in the FA Cup back in January 2012. We lost 4-0 but I remember the atmosphere was electric.
My favourite Charlton game was… Doncaster Rovers at home in the second leg of the play-offs because the atmosphere was amazing and it was a rollercoaster of emotions.
My favourite Charlton player is… Johnnie Jackson is my favourite player ever but Jonny Williams is my favourite in the current squad.
My favourite Charlton kit is… The red Allsports kit from the 04/05 season, it looks smart in my opinion.
The best part of being a Charlton fan is…The atmosphere and the togetherness of the fans. It makes me proud to be a Charlton fan.
The Charlton player of the season will be… Between Williams and Conor Gallagher because they both contribute so much to the team.
The game I am most looking forward to is… Millwall as it's nice to get one up on your rivals (fingers crossed!).
If Charlton could sign any player in the world who would it be? Alfredo Morelos because all he does is scores goals.
