The Football Association will not be taking any formal disciplinary action against Charlton Manager Lee Bowyer following his sending-off against Birmingham City on Saturday.
Bowyer was sent off in stoppage time by referee Matthew Donohue Under Law 12 for "physical or aggressive behaviour towards an opposing player, substitute, team official, match official, spectator or any other person".
The report and the match video were reviewed by the FA who wrote to the club to confirm they will not be taking any formal disciplinary action on this occasion. Bowyer was warned about his future conduct.
Bowyer said: "I'm happy the FA have made the correct decision to take no further formal action. Our focus remains on preparation for Saturday's game against Wigan."
