Heading to Fulham on Saturday? Here's everything you need to know about an away day at Craven Cottage...
The sold-out Addicks support will be housed to one side of the Putney End, behind the goal and to the riverside of the ground. 1,970 fans will fill the away area which has this season been reduced to the ongoing work on the Riverside Stand which is completely closed for its rebuild. There is a supporting pillar which may impede some fans’ view, but the view of the action is otherwise good, as is legroom in the stand which is, essentially, a ‘temporary’ structure.
It goes without saying that the location of Craven Cottage allows fans to take their pick from food options in London. There are plenty of places to grab a bite to eat on Putney High Street on the opposite side of the Thames and the usual fare is available inside the ground.
Depending on your route across London, there will be plenty of locations for fans to meet for a pint. Closer to the ground, the Eight Bells near Putney Bridge Underground is recommended but can get very busy. The Temperance is also a good option nearby, while the King’s Arms can be found opposite. On the opposite side of the river, there is plenty on offer including Wetherspoon’s (The Rocket).
Postcode is SW6 6HH. With the excellent public transport links on offer, it is advised not to drive to Craven Cottage. There is no street parking close to the ground so you would have to take your chances further away and walk.
Due to engineering works, the District Line is not running to Putney Bridge Underground station on Saturday. Therefore, the closest option is Putney overground station on the opposite side of Putney Bridge, which is at least a 20-minute walk from the ground. Trains run to Putney from London Waterloo.
1,970 Addicks will be backing Bowyer's boys in the SOLD OUT away end at Craven Cottage. No tickets will be available on the day.
