Charlton ace Conor Gallagher has caught the eye with an impressive start to his career in SE7 and last week was called up to the England U21 squad.
After making his debut for Aidy Boothroyd’s side in a friendly against Slovenia on Friday, Gallagher is in on the bench for tonight’s UEFA European U21 Championship Qualifier against Austria at Stadium MK.
In a Valley Pass exclusive, we went behind the scenes at England U21 training on Monday at Stadium MK to find out how the Chelsea loanee is doing with his new teammates.

The 19-year-old was initially selected for England U20s for this international break and told Valley Pass he was delighted with his promotion: "It’s massive, it’s my first season in senior football, in the Championship as well and with a great club like Charlton. I just want to carry on my form and the form the team is in. It shows doing well at Charlton gives me recognition with England, so hopefully I can carry it on and see where the season takes us."
England U21s Manager Aidy Boothroyd said he's been impressed by Gallagher's form. He said: "He’s in a rhythm, he’s scoring goals. He’s got four goals, which is a great return for a young midfield player playing in such a difficult league. He’s certainly been a big positive for this October camp."
Tonight’s game is live on BT Sport 1 from 7.30pm.
