Heading to Bristol City on Wednesday? Here's everything you need to know about an away day at Ashton Gate...
1,310 Addicks will be housed in the Atyeo Stand behind the goal at one end of Ashton Gate. The view of the action is good and unimpeded and the stand’s roof allows for good acoustics and, thus, a good atmosphere.
Pies, pasties and sausage rolls are available inside the ground, while there are also a number of food stalls dotted around the stadium, including the ‘Rude Hot Dogs’ stall. There is a KFC just outside the main entrance to the stadium and a number of options on offer on nearby North Street. There is also a dedicated Fan Village for away supporters behind the away end which offers food and drink.
As well as the aforementioned Fan Village, the recommended away pubs are the Nova Scotia and the Rose of Denmark which are both around a 15-minute walk to the ground.
Fans should avoid pubs on North Street, while the Robins and Rising Sun close to the ground are home fans only. Bedminster Cricket Club offers a bar with food also available.
There are also options in the city centre, including the Knights Templar, a Wetherspoons, near to Temple Meads Station.
Postcode is BS3 2EJ. There is no parking at the ground itself and nearby street parking is very limited. Bedminster Cricket Club offers parking for £10, otherwise it’s a case of looking for street parking further away from the stadium.
The nearest station is Parson Street which is a mile away from the stadium. Hourly trains run from Bristol Temple Meads mainline station. Temple Meads is around two miles away, so a taxi or bus is the best bet. A special shuttle bus service runs from the station to the ground and costs £2.
Regular trains run from London Paddington to Bristol Temple Meads with the journey time taking less than two hours. The last train back to London is at 10.35pm.
1,310 travelling Addicks will be backing Bowyer's boys at Ashton Gate. The match is all-ticket, so there will be none available from the ground on the day.
Supporters who were unable to obtain tickets for the fixture can follow all the action through the club’s usual channels, including live commentary on Valley Pass.
