Ben Purrington has returned to the Charlton line-up for today's game at West Bromwich Albion as one of five changes made by Manager Lee Bowyer.
The left back makes his first appearance since limping off against Swansea City at the start of the month.
International fans can watch the game live from as little as £5 with Charlton commentators Terry Smith and Greg Stubley, while domestic fans can listen to the game from £4. For more information click here.
Purrington is joined in the starting XI by Darren Pratley, Chris Solly, Naby Sarr and Erhun Oztumer. Sam Field and Jake Forster-Caskey both suffered injuries in Wednesday’s game against Bristol City, Deji Oshilaja and Beram Kayal move to the bench while Jonathan Leko is ineligible to play against his parent club.
It means the Addicks may line-up in a 3-2-diamond-1 formation. Dillon Phillips continues in goal and if Bowyer opts for that formation the back three will be made up of Tom Lockyer, skipper Jason Pearce and Sarr. Solly and Purrington would operate as wing backs in that formation with Pratley holding in midfield, Josh Cullen and Conor Gallagher playing either side of the diamond with Oztumer behind in-form striker and birthday boy Macauley Bonne.
Given Bowyer’s tactical fluidity and the versatility of the players, he may opt for the 5-4-1 formation used last week against Derby County or a 4-3-3 with Oztumer and Gallagher supporting Bonne.
Oshilaja and Kayal are joined on the bench by Ashley Maynard-Brewer, Chuks Aneke, Ben Dempsey, Josh Davison and Alfie Doughty, who has been recalled from a successful loan spell at Bromley.
