Even more names have been added as special guests for the Valley Centenary Dinner, with Colin Powell, Derek Hales, Len Glover, Jonatan Johansson and Darren Bent all confirmed for the event.
The five former Addicks amassed 1,163 appearances between them across the decades and were all firm fan favourites at The Valley, while Hales, of course, holds the honour of being the club’s record all-time goalscorer with 168 goals.
Last week it was announced that former Addick and Sky Sports presenter Scott Minto will host the evening on Sunday, November 24th, adding to the prestigious list of names who will be attending, alongside Keith Peacock, Alan Curbishley, Steve Gritt, Chris Powell, Lee Bowyer, Lennie Lawrence, Robert Lee, Colin Walsh, John Humphrey, Bob Bolder and Johnnie Jackson.
The evening, organised by the Valley Centenary Committee, will give supporters the opportunity to meet Charlton legends who have made so many memories of The Valley possible over the last century.
As with all Valley Centenary events throughout the season, a percentage of the proceeds will be going to Charlton Athletic Community Trust, as well as the committee itself, to help fund initiatives such as the rebranding of the Covered End following its official name change.
There will also be an auction with exclusive, money-can’t-buy items to bid on, in aid of Charlton Athletic Community Trust.
Individual tickets for the special event are priced £96, while tables of 10 can be purchased for £900. Tickets include a three-course meal, welcome drink and tea or coffee. Click here to book.
