Charlton Manager Lee Bowyer revealed striker Lyle Taylor is “touch and go” for the Addicks home game against Cardiff City on Saturday.
The Montserrat international started the season on fire, with five goals in six games, but has been out since September with a knee injury.
Speaking at his pre-Cardiff press conference this morning Bowyer said: “Lyle is touch and go. He had a set back the other week and we’ve been trying to get him through that. It’s touch and go with Lyle but apart from that there is no-one coming back within the next couple of weeks.
“We thought he was going to be back for Preston [earlier in November]. He had a bit of a set back and we’ve been trying now to get him through that. Earlier on in the week he was outside running, at the back end of last week he was running. He started kicking some balls this week. It’s just how he holds up after today and tomorrow.”
The Addicks host Cardiff City at The Valley on Saturday with the game kicking off at 12.30pm. Get your tickets here.
