Tom Lockyer helped Wales secure their place at Euro 2020, keeping a clean sheet in a 2-0 victory against Hungary, whilst Jonny Williams was cheering his side on from the stands.
The win ensured Wales finished second in Group E, sitting one point ahead of Slovakia with 14 points and qualifying automatically for next summer's tournament. The Welsh conceded the least amount of goals in the qualifying group, letting in only six in eight games.
Meanwhile, Conor Gallagher played 62 minutes for England U21’s as they fell to a late defeat at the hands of the Netherlands U21.
Elsewhere; Naby Sarr, Josh Cullen and Beram Kayal were unused substitutes for their respective countries as the Republic of Ireland were held to a 1-1 draw against Denmark, whilst Israel fell to defeat against North Macedonia in Skopje and Senegal recorded a 4-1 victory over Eswatini.
