Charlton’s U18s continue their FA Youth Cup journey on Monday evening when they take on Blackburn Rovers in the fourth round at Ewood Park (7pm).
The young Addicks booked their date with Rovers by beating West Ham United in dramatic fashion in the third round, claiming victory on penalties following a 3-3 draw at Dagenham & Redbridge’s Chigwell Construction Stadium.
They now face another Category One side in Blackburn for the right to play the winners of Preston North End against Oxford United at home in the fifth round.
Charlton's youngsters have only been beaten twice in 16 league matches this term and sit in second place in Professional Development League 2 - South, while Rovers lie in ninth place in the U18 Premier League - North table with four wins, two draws and six defeats to their name this season.
