Charlton will be looking for a response after the weekend's 3-1 loss against Stoke City when they gear up for the trip to the City Ground to take on Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night (7.45).
Forest will be coming into the game filled with confidence after taking a big step in their bid for promotion with a 2-0 win over second-place Leeds United on Saturday and will no doubt be eyeing up another three points when Lee Bowyer's men make the journey to Nottinghamshire.
Bowyer may look to check on the fitness of Chuks Aneke who has played his part in the U23s of late to build his match fitness. The manager dismissed talks of him returning to the squad ahead of the trip to Stoke citing that he needed more minutes, though the striker may well be an option should Bowyer wish to bring him back into the squad.
Lewis Page is the only definite absentee with Macauley Bonne and George Lapslie returning to fitness.
Deji Oshilaja has returned to training after missing out on the last two games after rolling his ankle, but Jake Forster-Caskey will remain a doubt having missed the trip to Stoke.
For Forest, they will be without Tendayi Darikwa who has missed the season with an ACL rupture in the summer
Samba Sow is also back fit for the hosts having played the full 90 minutes in the fixture against Leeds and so Sabri Lamouchi may turn to the midfielder once again on Tuesday night.

Nottingham Forest boss Sabri Lamouchi: "We need to put in the same kind of performance as we did against Leeds against Charlton because we need the same result. It is so tough and so difficult, we just need to focus on us.
“It is just game after game and step by step.”
Charlton and Forest have a very even record, with both sides picking up 14 wins a piece and playing out 15 draws, the most recent of which coming in August last year when Lyle Taylor's goal was cancelled out by Albert Adomah's strike.
The Addicks are unbeaten in their last seven games against the 'Tricky Trees', with two wins and five draws.
The last time Charlton took all three points at the City Ground was in March 2014 when Jordan Cousins was able to tap home after Jordan Obika's effort was denied by the post as Jose Riga's side came away with a vital 1-0 win.
Daren Bond will be the referee on Tuesday night in what will be his 23rd game of the season. He has handed out 81 yellows and one red this season.
The last time Bond took charge of a Charlton game was back in November 2019 when he oversaw the Addicks' 2-2 draw with Cardiff City. He will be joined by his assistants Andrew Hunt and Jonathan Bond while James Oldham will be the Fourth Official.
