After Tuesday night's win over Nottingham Forest, chairman Matt Southall and the players took to social media to celebrate what was an important three points.
Andre Green was quick to show his delight, taking to twitter with "Come on!! Great result", before skipper Jason Pearce touched posted: "That was a big one tonight. Boys gave everything again! Well done to Lyle Taylor [for his goal] and Naby Sarr on an unreal assist! Thanks to you that travelled. #ontothenextone".
Southall was also on Twitter, expressing his joy at the result, he tweeted: "Magnificent win!! Brilliant from Lee, the players and every fan that got behind the team tonight See you on Saturday for a full house at The Valley."
Matt Smith, who made his first appearance for Charlton on the night, praised the side and the travelling supporters: "Delighted to make my @CAFCofficial debut! The lads dug deep, fantastic travelling fans, safe journey home."
Fellow January signing David Davis kept things short and sweet saying: "Three points away it doesn't get much better."
Over on Instagram, Josh Cullen touched on the importance of the result: "Big win on the road last night, all focus on Saturday now! Thanks to all the fans that travelled on a cold Tuesday night, unreal as always."
Naby Sarr, whose brilliant cross set up the winner simply put; "W I N N I N G F E E L I N G"
Elsewhere, Tomer Hemed joined his teammates in praising the supporters: "Massive win yesterday! Thanks for the warm support on that freezing day."
