On Sunday Charlton Athletic Women take on Leicester City as they continue in their battle against relegation.
Leicester sit eight points ahead of the Addicks but have played three games more than Charlton.
“Sunday’s massive, every game is,” said captain Grace Coombs.
“They’re not too far away from us so we need to start picking up points against the teams around us and we know that.
“If we don't, we’re going be in a position we don’t want to be in at the end of the year.”
Coombs is wary of the Foxes’ firepower though saying: “They’re very powerful going forward so we’re aware of that, we did get caught out last time we played against them.
“They’re a good team, they’re getting better and better, they’ve got a solid foundation, they’ve got a lot of new players that I think are good signings for them.
“It will be a tough test but every game is going to be tough and we’re just going to go with our game plan, hopefully we’ll be able to get the three points.”
Riteesh Mishra’s side will be coming up against a familiar face as recently departed Charlie Devlin will be lining up for the home side.
“Charlie’s a great player, I’ve had to train against her for six months so we may know some of her habits but we’re not going to worry too much about one individual player and we’ll just focus on what we can do as a team.”
