The club will host a meeting looking at making Charlton Athletic more accessible to women ahead of Saturday’s home game against Middlesbrough at The Valley.
The matchday is the club’s annual Women’s Day with activities taking place in conjunction with Charlton Athletic Community Trust, Charlton Athletic Women and club partner the University of Greenwich.
The pre-match meeting will include a panel with Charlton fans and Charlton Athletic Women represented and will be introduced by club chairman Matt Southall. Limited spaces are available and fans interested in attending should email website@cafc.co.uk before 5pm on Friday March 6th.
As part of the day’s activity Charlton Athletic Community Trust are running a Girls’ Cup with the two finalists battling it out in a goalscoring challenge at half-time on the pitch at The Valley.
A bucket collection for Charlton Athletic Women will take place before the game. Supporters are encouraged to show their support for the Women’s Team by donating to the collection buckets, which will be located in and around The Valley.
