The club has received confirmation that applications for Claudiu Florica and Marian Mihail under the EFL’s Owners’ and Directors’ Test have been approved.
The pair were appointed to the club’s Board of Directors in March following the removal of Matt Southall and Jonathan Heller from the club’s board.
Mihail’s application was approved at the end of last week and the club received notification of the approval of Florica’s application this morning.
Tahnoon Nimer’s application was approved following the takeover of the club, by East Street Investments, in January, so all of the club’s Board of Directors have been approved by the EFL under the Owners’ and Directors’ Test regulations.
The club is continuing to support the EFL with the league’s investigation into the takeover of Charlton Athletic by East Street Investments. On Friday the club's lawyers submitted a series of documents and correspondence to the EFL in order to assist with the investigation. The EFL confirmed, on Monday morning, that they are reviewing the information provided.
