Lee Bowyer will have a full squad to pick from for his side’s game against Birmingham City on Wednesday evening.
The Charlton Manager believes his team are in a good place but is fully aware of the threat the Blues strikeforce poses.
He confirmed the Addicks are back to full strength, saying: “Andre [Green] was in training today and, obviously, he has missed a few days. Pagey [Lewis Page] is back training now as well, so we’re full strength at the moment.
“We’re in a good place, it is still in our hands. Birmingham is a massive game but that’s not going to define whether we stay up or not. It is over the three games that is important. Obviously, this is the next one in line and we have to do what we’ve done over the last few games and then, hopefully, things will start going our way.”
The Addicks' trip to St Andrew's will be available to watch live on Valley Pass with a match pass that can be purchased here and Bowyer said his team are in a good mood despite an unfortunate loss to Reading at The Valley on Saturday.
“The boys look good,” he said.
“They are upbeat. Going back to the weekend, we didn’t do anything wrong, I said that to the players. We played a good Reading team that beat Luton 5-0 the week before and they had one shot at our goal and that was from the penalty spot. Dillon [Phillips] didn’t have a save to make. From back to front we moved the ball well, we created chances. On a different day we win comfortably. Two decisions went against us, so we can’t be too downhearted, we are playing well.
“Our focus is on preparation for Birmingham. The players that started the game have to recover from the weekend and then the others have to train like they would do normally to get them ready in case they are needed. The games are thick and fast with no time to recover, so recovery is the most important thing.”
Birmingham lost at Stoke City on Sunday and a win for Charlton on Wednesday would see them move ahead of their hosts.
Bowyer said: “They are a good side, they’ve got good players, especially in the final third, that can hurt you. [Lucas] Jutkiewicz, I would say, is one of the best strikers in the league. Scott Hogan obviously has a good record too. He’s another very good striker, so they have two strikers that can hurt you from nothing. We have to defend our box well. How we defend our box and the chances we create, because we will create chances, will be important.”
