The Valley is set to open up to supporters for the 2020/21 season and the club needs your help in setting up your social bubbles, to give us the opportunity to get as many fans into the stadium as is allowed under safety guidelines.
The club will host a test event which will likely be our game against Doncaster Rovers at The Valley on September 19th and the stadium is set to open to between 6,000 and 8,500 for games in October as per present government guidelines.
We understand that football is a social occasion and we want you to have as normal a matchday experience as possible at Charlton Athletic in the 2020/21 season. We want to get as many fans back in the stadium, as early as is possible and most importantly in a safe environment.
Therefore, as a 2020/21 season ticket holder, supporters will be able to attend with five other individuals, provided that there are no more than two separate addresses between your group – this will be your social bubble. This way we will be able to allocate you together, with appropriate social distancing in place between your group and others, while also retaining some normal semblance to a matchday at The Valley.
Please note that at the time, we unfortunately cannot allow season-ticket holders to social bubble with non-season-ticket holders or match-ticket holders.
All season-ticket holders should have already been sent an email with the link to fill in the form already. If you are a 2020/21 season-ticket holder and have not received the link to this form, please email tickets@cafc.co.uk and we will endeavour to get it to you as soon as possible.
Due to the logistical difficulties of allocating seats, season-ticket holders will only be allowed to fill in the form once. Once it has been submitted, fans will not be able to change any details on the form and will be contacted by the club’s ticket office if there are any issues.
Additionally, we can only guarantee to secure social bubble seats if forms are completed and submitted correctly by midnight on September 6th. After this time, the ticket office will be unable to ensure that you application is processed.
