There were technical difficulties in the first half of Saturday’s live stream of our game against Crewe Alexandra.
This resulted in a loss of commentary for approximately 25 minutes at the end of the first half.
Technical problems not only affected the club's Valley Pass stream, but also Crewe's iFollow broadcast as well as a number of other EFL clubs.
The club are following up with our providers to ensure this doesn’t happen again.
We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused and we will be writing to all those that purchased Saturday’s game to offer them a free one-month subscription to Valley Pass.
The subscription, which would normally cost £6.50, will give supporters access to the Valley Pass archive, which includes every goal Charlton have scored in the last 31 seasons and access to in-depth video interviews with Charlton heroes in our Valley Stories series. The subscription also includes access to the manager’s pre-match and post-match press conferences. The subscription does not include live video but does give access to live audio commentary of every Charlton first team game.
Supporters who already have an annual pass will be able to add this month on at the end of their subscription. Supporters who already subscribe monthly and purchased Saturday's game can email website@cafc.co.uk to ensure they get their next month free.
A live video pass for Saturday's game against Doncaster Rovers will be available to purchase on the Valley Pass website and with CAFC Cash from Tuesday. A live pass costs £10 in the UK and Ireland and £7 for those purchasing internationally.
