Charlton Athletic Women return to The Oakwood on Sunday to host Sheffield United.
The Addicks have taken four points from their first three games, including a late winner at Blackburn Rovers but haven’t played at home since a dramatic draw 2-2 with Crystal Palace last month.
Charlton put in a brave performance last weekend against Liverpool but lost 4-0 after the hosts scored a couple of late goals.
Ella Powell said: “Last week was a tough trip for us be we haven’t dwelled on things. We’ve addressed the areas we need to improve and have had a great week of training, spirits are high within the squad."
Sheffield United sit three points ahead of Charlton, having taken seven points from their opening three games and will be a tough test for Riteesh Mishra’s side.
Powell said that being back at home would be a huge help for the team: “We’re excited to be back at home and determined to get more points on the board.”
