Charlton Athletic have launched their very own 2020 Time Capsule which will be stored in the Museum at The Valley.
The capsule, which will be sealed for 50 years, will look to capture a snippet of our current history, to be revisited in 2070. The capsule will be sealed at the end of 2020.
Fans are invited to contribute to our official Time Capsule, by applying to donate an item here [https://r1.dotmailer-surveys.com/cf0e3e62b690302c4w9v820b18bf2216349a-48d31f69278c120950l7280f3bab05c79b33]. If successful, fans will be contacted via email with details on how to donate their item.
Items such as scarves, tickets, photographs and programmes are encouraged, whilst larger items will not be accepted. Please note, whilst we are in lockdown, items will need to be posted to The Valley. More details will be shared with successful applicants.
Current players from both the men’s and women’s first teams will be donating items, as well as Charlton owner Thomas Sandgaard, who will be invited to contribute.
Our Virtual Young Reds members will have priority access to applying, with a guaranteed allocation in the Time Capsule. Our young supporters can still become a Virtual Young Red to benefit by clicking here.
