2020 was a year in which we lost a great number of much-loved members of the Charlton family, including some who were cruelly taken from us prematurely by coronavirus.
On January 8th, prior to the game against Accrington Stanley, The Valley will unite to pay tribute to all those with Charlton connections who have passed away in the last 12 months. With supporters unable to attend the match, the latest edition of the club's monthly programme will include all the names which have been submitted by loved ones of those we have lost in the last 12 months on the front and back cover, as well as in a special double-page feature within the 60-page edition.
As well as the annual memorial, there is all the regular features with Jonny Williams providing the latest in-depth interview in which he discusses being in amongst the goals this season, playing under Ryan Giggs for Wales and looking forward to the Euros, as well as bouncing back from adversity and the importance of mental health in football.
As well as all the usual latest news from around The Valley, the academy, Community Trust and Women's team, Lee Bowyer pens his latest manager's column as he reflects on the last month and looks ahead to the new year, while the Young Reds page is on hand to keep youngsters entertained with some Addicks-related games.
The 60-page programme is available to purchase online now for £3, plus a £1.50 postage and packaging fee, by clicking here.
The programme is only available for delivery in the UK and Ireland and supporters will need to have set up a ticketing account to complete their purchase.
Please note that due to the current situation and staff having to work from home, programmes will not begin to be sent out until Friday, January 8th and there may be a slight delay in delivery. The club appreciates the patience of supporters during this challenging time.
If supporters would prefer to purchase via cheque, they can send a cheque for £4.50 (cost includes £1.50 postage and packaging fee) to 'Communications Team, Charlton Athletic Football Club, The Valley, Floyd Road, SE7 8BL' with their name and delivery address and their programme will be posted to them as soon as possible.
