Jason Pearce, Darren Pratley, Paul Smyth and Omar Bogle return to the Charlton starting lineup as Lee Bowyer looks to freshen up his side for today’s game against Peterborough United.
There is a return to the squad for Andrew Shinnie, who takes a place on the bench alongside recent supersubs Jonny Williams, Chuks Aneke and Ronnie Schwartz.
If the Addicks start in the same attacking 4-4-2 formation used in Saturday’s win against Bristol Rovers then Chris Gunter, Deji Oshilaja, skipper Jason Pearce and Ian Maatsen will start in a back four ahead of Ben Amos. Pratley replaces the suspended Albie Morgan in midfield alongside the in-form Jake Forster-Caskey. Smyth and Liam Millar would likely operate as wingers behind a front two of Bogle and Conor Washington.
Birthday boy Nathan Harness gets a spot on the bench, with Ashley Maynard-Brewer out through concussion protocol. Adam Matthews and Alex Gilbey join Williams, Aneke, Schwartz and Shinnie amongst the substitutes.
Charlton: Amos; Gunter, Oshilaja, Pearce (C), Maatsen; Smyth, Pratley, Forster-Caskey, Millar; Bogle, Washington
