Lee Bowyer has made three changes to his side to take on Portsmouth at The Valley this evening, with Ronnie Schwartz, Ian Maatsen and Albie Morgan handed starts.
Following the 1-0 victory away to Milton Keynes Dons a week ago, defender Maatsen returns after being rested. Danish striker Schwartz is also named in the lineup, having played 40 minutes against the Dons, whilst birthday boy Morgan returns in midfield, looking to mark his special day with three points.
Lee Bowyer once again names Ben Amos in goal while Adam Matthews, Chris Gunter, Deji Oshilaja and Maatsen make up the defence. Darren Pratley captains the side in midfield alongside Jake Forster-Caskey, Morgan and Andrew Shinnie. A partnership of Schwartz and Jayden Stockley is preferred in attack.
Ben Purrington and Liam Millar drop to the bench. Millar is named on the bench having started every game previously since signing on loan from Liverpool earlier this month. Deadline-day signing Matt Smith, who arrived on loan from Arsenal, could make his debut from the bench.
Fellow deadline-day arrival Diallang Jaiyesimi will have to wait until the weekend to be involved with the registration cut-off for Tuesday evening coming prior to him becoming an Addick.
Conor Washington misses out after picking up a knock at MK Dons while Ryan Innis and Akin Famewo remain sidelined as the pair continue their rehabilitation from injury.
