Nigel Adkins provided an injury update on Monday morning as he confirmed Chuks Aneke and Conor Washington were set to make a return to training following a spell on the sidelines.
Washington has been missing since the 2-2 draw at AFC Wimbledon last month, while fellow forward Aneke has not featured since the Good Friday victory over Doncaster.
And while the Addicks boss warned that they may not be available for Tuesday's trip to Plymouth Argyle, it remains positive news with the end of the season in sight.
“Due to join in training this morning are Chuks Aneke and Conor Washington," explained Adkins.
"That’s not to say they are fit for Tuesday, but they are joining in with the main group.
“That means we’re moving in a positive direction for the run of games we’ve got coming up.
“The more firepower we can have available to us, the better.”
