Ashley Maynard-Brewer has joined Scottish Premiership side Ross County on a season-long loan.
The deal will allow the highly-rated 22-year-old the opportunity to play within the top level of Scottish football and includes a six-month break clause, which either side can activate.
The Addicks hierarchy felt at this stage of his career Maynard-Brewer needs to be playing regularly to aid his development and the move gives him the opportunity to play against the best teams in Scotland.
Ross County, who are managed by Malky Mackay, have spent nine of the last 10 seasons in the Scottish Premiership and opened their season with a 0-0 draw at home to St. Johnstone on Saturday. They travel to Hibernian on Sunday.
