Charlton Athletic are pleased to confirm the signing of pacey winger Corey Blackett-Taylor.
The former England youth international becomes the Addicks seventh signing of the summer transfer window.
The 23-year-old has been training with Nigel Adkins’ side for the past few weeks and impressed the Addicks' hierarchy.
Adkins said: “I’m delighted we’ve been able to sign Corey. He’s been training with us and has settled in really well with the group. He has a great attitude and has made a good impression. I’m looking forward to continuing working with him.”
Blackett-Taylor, who has signed a deal until January, explained the size of the pitch at The Valley should suit his pace: “It feels good to be a Charlton player. I’m happy that everything is done and I can’t wait to get started now and start playing football.
“Everyone says how nice the stadium is, how big the pitch is, so that will definitely suit me.”
Owner Thomas Sandgaard was pleased to add another player with pace to the squad. He said: “Corey has come in and been training with the team. He is a very quick winger, who has done well while he has been in with us, so I’m looking forward to watching him at The Valley.”
