Elsewhere, Harry Arter travels to Baku with the Republic of Ireland to play Azerbaijan in a World Cup qualifier on Saturday, before heading back to Dublin on Tuesday to take on Qatar in a friendly.
Euan Williams was introduced as a 64th-minute substitute in Northern Ireland under-19s’ 2-0 loss against Denmark on Wednesday, with games to follow against Czech Republic and Kazakhstan on Saturday and Tuesday respectively.
Fellow academy prospect Ryan Viggars also enjoyed a second-half cameo as Wales under-19s earned a goalless draw against Georgia. Next up for the Dragons is a clash against Norway on Saturday, before taking on Kosovo on Tuesday.
