Jason Pearce and Chris Gunter return to the Charlton starting XI for this afternoon’s encounter against Doncaster Rovers as Caretaker Manager Johnnie Jackson makes two enforced changes.
The club captain replaces Sam Lavelle, while Gunter comes in for his fellow Welshman Adam Matthews.
Elsewhere, there is a return to the matchday 18 for Deji Elerewe.
Craig MacGillivray starts in goal, with the returning Gunter and Pearce joining Akin Famewo at the heart of the Charlton defence.
Jonathan Leko and Ben Purrington are expected to continue in their wing-back roles, with Alex Gilbey, George Dobson and Elliot Lee likely to man the midfield once again, while Jayden Stockley and Conor Washington will operate as a front two.
Elerewe is joined on the bench by Stephen Henderson, Ben Watson, Sean Clare, Diallang Jaiyesimi, Corey Blackett-Taylor and Josh Davison.
Speaking on his team selection, Jackson told CharltonTV: “Two enforced changes, obviously Sam Lavelle came off last week with a particularly bad injury and you’d have seen that he had surgery. We’re going to be without Sam for a while so Pearcey [Jason Pearce] comes into the team.
“Unfortunately we lost Adam Matthews during the week as well. He came out of the Sunderland game with a little bit of a niggle that he’s not been able to shake, so Chris Gunter comes into the side.”
