The new International Fans’ Forum met for the first time via Zoom on Thursday.
Charlton Owner, Thomas Sandgaard, attended the meeting which was joined by supporter representatives from around the world.
The meeting was chaired by the club’s Fan Adviser, Lucy Bishop, with each of the club’s international supporters’ groups invited to be represented by one member.
At the meeting topics discussed included streaming, ticketing, setting up an International Supporters Day and more. Full notes from the meeting will be available later this week.
Speaking after the meeting Sandgaard said: “I really enjoyed the first International Fans’ Forum. We have a lot of really passionate supporters living around the world and it was good to hear from them.
“A key focus for us is increasing our international fanbase and some of the topics discussed have given us areas where we can improve what we currently offer supporters and how we can reach potential new fans.
“I’m looking forward to see how we can continue to work together to improve their experience and support the growth of their fan groups.”
