Johnnie Jackson’s Addicks return to The Valley for the second time in three days on Tuesday night (7.45pm) as they host Rotherham United.
Having registered successive victories for the first time this season last weekend, Charlton will again be targeting maximum points as Jackson bids to maintain his 100% record at the helm.
TEAM NEWS
Long-term absentees Sam Lavelle (groin), Ryan Inniss (quad) and Jake Forster-Caskey (ACL) remain sidelined for the Addicks, while Adam Matthews (calf) and Jonathan Leko (hip) will be assessed.
The visitors, meanwhile, will be without Angus MacDonald (unspecified), Joe Mattock (ankle) and Jamie Lindsay (hamstring).
THE OPPOSITION
Having been relegated from the Sky Bet Championship last term, the Millers are enjoying a fine return to the third tier under long-serving manager Paul Warne.
A nine-game unbeaten run in League One, including six wins in their last seven outings, sees the Yorkshire side travel to the capital in near flawless form.
Rotherham recorded a rampant 5-1 victory over Sunderland at the AESSEAL New York Stadium last time out, leaving them sat in 4th position - just three points behind league leaders Plymouth Argyle with a game in hand.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
Charlton and Rotherham have squared off on 36 previous occasions with the Addicks winning 13, the Millers 14 and the remaining nine encounters concluding in draws.
The last meeting between the two sides came at The Valley in April 2018 and saw the hosts prevail. Michał Żyro broke the deadlock after 28 minutes before Joe Aribo bagged a second-half brace to settle the outcome, with Richard Wood netting a consolation goal 13 minutes from time.
MATCH OFFICIALS
Scott Oldham will control proceedings on Tuesday night. The referee last officiated the Addicks in January 2018 - a 3-1 triumph over Walsall at The Valley.
Oldham will be assisted by Kevin Howick and Stephen Finch, while Neil Hair is the Fourth Official.
