The returning Northern Ireland international replaces the suspended Jayden Stockley, while Wales international Chris Gunter features on the bench alongside 18-year-old Mason Burstow.
Craig MacGillivray continues in goal, with Sean Clare, captain Jason Pearce and Akin Famewo likely to operate in an unchanged back-three.
Diallang Jaiyesimi and Ben Purrington are expected to occupy wing-back roles with Alex Gilbey, George Dobson and Elliot Lee manning the midfield, behind a front two of Josh Davison and Washington.
