For the Addicks’ upcoming home league games, Caretaker Manager, Johnnie Jackson, is encouraging supporters to bring their friends, their family and their voices to The Valley.
Charlton Athletic season-ticket holders helped #FillTheValley for last weekend’s game against Plymouth Argyle, supporting Jackson’s side to a crucial three points.
Given the success of the #FillTheValley campaign both on and off the pitch, the club are giving season-ticket holders the opportunity to bring up to three people, for free, to Charlton’s home games against Ipswich Town, on Tuesday, December 7th, and Cambridge United, on Saturday, December 11th.
Jackson said: “The support we had at The Valley for the game against Plymouth Argyle was incredible. That is what this football club is all about and that is what can be achieved when everyone gets behind us.
“I cannot emphasise enough just how much difference the supporters make to what we do out there on the pitch and the atmosphere that was generated on that day pushed us on to those three points.
“It does not stop there, though. We want to continue this momentum and keep The Valley rocking exactly like that for our upcoming home games, so bring your friends, bring your family and bring your voices.”
Charlton Owner, Thomas Sandgaard, said: “The atmosphere for our game against Plymouth Argyle was incredible and played a big part in helping us to victory. We are grateful to our season-ticket holders who helped make that day special for everyone in the stadium.
“To see The Valley like that was really exciting and I’m looking forward to being back for our games in December and hearing that roar again.”
Season-ticket holders will be able to invite up to three others to enjoy a day at The Valley for the Ipswich match between now and 9am on Monday, December 6th. The deadline for redeeming ahead of the Cambridge game is 9am on Wednesday, December 8th. The Valley has a home capacity of just over 23,000 and with 9,888 season-ticket holders, supporters are advised to claim their tickets as early as possible, to avoid missing out.
