Akin Famewo, Conor Washington and Josh Davison all start for the Addicks against Wycombe Wanderers as Johnnie Jackson makes three changes for the New Year’s Day clash at The Valley (3pm).
The trio replace Pape Souaré, Jonathan Leko and Jayden Stockley, who misses out due to a niggle, whilst Stephen Henderson returns to the matchday squad.
Craig MacGillivray continues in goal, with the returning Famewo operating alongside Sean Clare and captain Jason Pearce in Jackson’s back three.
Diallang Jaiyesimi and Ben Purrington are expected to occupy wing-back roles with Alex Gilbey, George Dobson and Elliot Lee manning an unchanged midfield, behind a front two of Davison and Washington.
Henderson is joined on the bench by Ryan Inniss, Souaré, Ben Watson, Albie Morgan, Leko and Mason Burstow.
Commenting on Stockley’s absence, Jackson told CharltonTV: “Unfortunately Jayden misses out with a bit of a niggle; nothing Covid-related there, it's just something that he picked up during the week. Hopefully it’s nothing too serious. Obviously we’re keeping our eye on him, the physios are monitoring him very closely. I don’t see something that’s long-term there.”
