Charlton are delighted to confirm the signing of Jorja Fox on loan from Chelsea until the end of the season, subject to FA approval.
The full-back becomes Karen Hills’ first signing of the January transfer window.
Fox trained with the Addicks on Tuesday and Wednesday and has been impressed with what she has seen.
The 18-year-old said: “It feels good to be here. I’ve watched the team play over the course of the season and I’ve been really impressed with the football they’ve been playing.
“I think the group is really driven, I think Karen has created a really good environment, so I’m really excited to be a part of that and I can’t wait to get started.”
Hills said: “Jorja is a fantastic young talent who we have been tracking for a while, so I am really pleased we’ve been able to bring her to Charlton.”
The Addicks ended 2021 on a four-game winning streak and Charlton Owner, Thomas Sandgaard, explained he was pleased to be able to add to the squad: “I’ve been really impressed with the progress Karen and her team have been making in such a short time after turning professional in July. We want to bring in a few players to help us during the January window and Jorja is an excellent addition who is highly rated at Chelsea. I’m looking forward to watching her play in a Charlton shirt.”
