Charlton are delighted to confirm the addition of Natalia Negri on a dual-signing agreement from Arsenal until the end of the season.
The goalkeeper becomes Karen Hills’ second signing of the January transfer window following the arrival of Jorja Fox on Thursday and both players will be available for the Addicks' Championship clash against Sheffield United at the Oakwood on Sunday.
Negri has joined the Addicks on a dual-signing, meaning she can also play games for Arsenal U21s during the spell.
The 18-year-old explained she was excited to join Charlton: “I came in and everyone has been amazing, the coaches are amazing, so it’s just so good to be a part of such a great team. I just want to get some experience. I’m such a young player at the moment, there’s so much to come.
“I’m looking forward to working with some of these players who have played in the WSL and Eartha, who’s an amazing goalkeeper as well. I think it’s just amazing to be playing with these people.”
Hills said: “Natalia is a very talented, young goalkeeper with a bright future ahead of her, so we’re pleased to welcome her to Charlton.”
Charlton Owner, Thomas Sandgaard, added: “Karen and the team have wanted to bring in a goalkeeper, so I’m very happy we’ve been able to sign Natalia, who has a lot of talent and is highly-rated at Arsenal.”
