Ryan Inniss starts this afternoon’s Sky Bet League One fixture against Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium as Johnnie Jackson makes four changes.
Ben Purrington, Elliot Lee and Jonathan Leko also return to the starting XI, whilst prolific academy striker Daniel Kanu is named in the matchday 18 for the first time.
Meanwhile, Juan Castillo and Nile John feature in a league squad for the first time.
Craig MacGillivray continues in goal, behind a back three of Sean Clare, Inniss and Purrington.
Adam Matthews and Diallang Jaiyesimi are expected to occupy wing-back roles as Alex Gilbey, George Dobson and Lee line up in midfield, with Leko and Mason Burstow leading the Addicks’ line.
Kanu, Castillo and John are joined on the bench by Stephen Henderson, Sam Lavelle, Jason Pearce and Albie Morgan.
Commenting on the absence of Conor Washington, Chuks Aneke and Scott Fraser, Jackson told CharltonTV: "Conor and Chuks are both injured. They both had niggles coming out of the game on Tuesday so we're unable to field them today in any capacity. Scott Fraser has tested positive for COVID so obviously he can't be involved today either."
