Albie Morgan starts this afternoon’s Sky Bet League One encounter against Oxford United at The Valley as Johnnie Jackson makes one change.
The midfielder comes in for Mason Burstow who is named among the Addicks’ substitutes bench alongside fellow academy starlet Tyreece Campbell, who features in a senior matchday 18 for the first time.
Craig MacGillivray once again starts in goal, behind an unchanged back-three of Sean Clare, captain Ryan Inniss and Ben Purrington - assuming the Addicks continue in the 3-5-2 formation deployed throughout Jackson’s tenure.
Adam Matthews and Diallang Jaiyesimi are expected to occupy wing-back roles as Alex Gilbey, George Dobson and the returning Morgan line up in midfield, with Jonathan Leko and last weekend’s goalscorer Elliot Lee expected to lead the Addicks’ line.
Campbell and Burstow are joined on the bench by Nathan Harness, Akin Famewo, Jason Pearce, Sam Lavelle and Nile John.
Charlton: MacGillivray; Clare, Inniss (c), Purrington; Matthews, Gilbey, Dobson, Morgan, Jaiyesimi; Leko, Lee
Subs: Harness, Famewo, Pearce, Lavelle, John, Campbell, Burstow
