Ryan Inniss has been named the PFA Player in the Community at Sunday evening's 2022 EFL Awards ceremony in London.
The Addicks defender was praised for making a difference both in his virtual and in-person community appearances.
An EFL release said: "He’s formed lasting relationships with the Upbeats Down’s syndrome team as well as young people on the Kicks programme and continues to use his own life experiences to encourage others to make positive life choices."
Inniss was devastated to miss the ceremony due to illness. The award was accepted on his behalf by Community Trust CEO, Jason Morgan, and Head of Player Care, Tracey Leaburn, pictured at Sunday's event with Owner and CEO Thomas Sandgaard.
The club would like to congratulate Ryan on his award - a full interview with Inniss will be available across the club's channels in due course.
