Charlton supporters can win hospitality tickets to an upcoming home game as part of this weekend’s Greener Games activity.
Charlton and the club’s partners are encouraging supporters to change one thing for the club’s first ever Greener Games and have joined forces with Pledgeball as part of the activity.
Following the club’s debut into the Pledgeball League last season, Charlton are delighted to announce that Pledgeball are back for the men's first-team's Greener Game against Sheffield Wednesday at The Valley on Saturday, February 25th.

Pledgeball gives supporters the platform to take a stand on sustainability. Fans can show support for the Addicks by making a pledge to take actions that can make a real difference to protect where we play, help us climb the Pledgeball League table and will often have the benefit of saving money and reducing costs as well.
The idea is simple: the group of fans who have pledged to save the most carbon emissions by midnight on matchday will see their club win the Pledgeball fixture and climb the league table. The more fixtures you pledge in support of Charlton, the more times you’re entered into the prize draw.
Addicks fans have potential to make significant change:
- One capacity Valley crowd switching to doing their washing at 30 degrees saves the same amount of emissions as taking over 200 cars off the road. The impact we can have is huge - not only through reducing our own emissions, but through the influence it has on friends, family and beyond.
Pledgeball’s founder Katie Cross said: “Charlton stormed straight to fourth in their Pledgeball fixture last year and have already placed in the Pledgeball League this season. I’m looking forward to seeing the result of this dedicated Pledgeball fixture - I’d love to see the Addicks knocking the two Premier League clubs off the top spots. Get pledging and tell your friends - Charlton for the Pledgeball League title.”
