Charlton Athletic are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Heidi Logan on a two-year deal.
The 21 year-old most recently plied her trade at fellow Barclay’s Women’s Championship side Lewes.
Logan came through the ranks at West Bromwich Albion before joining Birmingham City at the age of 14. She went on to help the Blues reach the FA Youth Cup final.
The midfielder has also featured for her national team at youth level, receiving her first England call-up at U19 level before sustaining a major ACL injury in 2019.
In her first interview as an Addick, Logan expressed her delight: “I am delighted to be here. It is a really professional club and it is the right step in my career. I really like the way Karen plays and that is one of the main things that attracted me here.
“I am energetic, I like to get around the pitch and I like to help the team as much as I can, but also I am direct and I love a ball over the top to run onto.”
Addicks Head Coach Karen Hills was over the moon with her new signing. She said: "I am thrilled that Heidi has joined Charlton this summer. She is a young and versatile midfielder who is always full of energy and I am very much looking forward to seeing her develop even further in this campaign."
The signing of Heidi Logan is subject to FA approval.
