Patrick Casey has spent half of his life at Charlton, having joined the Addicks' esteemed academy at U9 level.

He enjoyed a remarkable first year as a scholar, scoring 42 goals for the U18s and U21s.

This led to him being named in the Republic of Ireland's U19 squad for a summer training camp in June 2023. It also earned him his first professional deal, which he signed the same month.

The Irishman continued his impressive performances during the 2023/24 season, scoring even more than in 2022/23 and making a substitute appearance for the first-team in a Sky Bet League One match against Oxford United.
