Jessica Gray is heading into her third season with the Addicks having joined the club in November 2022 from Billericay Town.
While Gray has become a familiar face in the Charlton squad, it was only at university that the 23-year-old decided to give football a chance after being told while on her university team she had to ability to play professionally.
The goalkeeper successfully made her way into the London City Lionesses Player Development Pathway, becoming the first player to jump from the Pathway to the first team.
After spending two seasons with the Women’s Championship side, she moved to Women’s National League South side Billericay Town ahead of the 2022/23 season, before Karen Hills moved to bring the young shot stopper to SE7.
Having been a regular between the sticks during the latter half of last season, Gray has been handed the number one jersey and will be looking to make herself Charlton’s first choice between the sticks during the 2024/25 campaign.
