Chris Lock was appointed as the Lead Coach for the club’s U21s side in May 2023.

He first joined Charlton's esteemed academy in 2019 and played an important role as Jason Pearce’s assistant as the U18s won the 2022/23 Professional Development League 2 - South title.

In August 2024, Lock joined England's Elite League Squad coaching staff under interim boss Paul Nevin.
