Manu Wales joined the club at U16 level and was confirmed as a scholar in June 2023.

The attacking midfielder played an important role during the 2023/24 season, in which the U18s won the Professional Development League Two - South title.

Wales also scored in the resulting PDL2 play-off semi-final against Barnsley.
