Tennai Watson arrived at Charlton on deadline day in September 2023, signing a two-year deal with the club.

Born in Hillingdon, Watson came through Reading’s academy and progressed through to the first team to make four Championship appearances.

The versatile full-back had loan spells at AFC Wimbledon and Coventry City before joining MK Dons permanently in 2021.

After two seasons at MK Dons, he left the club in the summer of 2023 after making over 50 League One appearances for the Buckinghamshire side.
